Symphony In Sculpture was commissioned by Joseph Giunta and the Des Moines Symphony for its 75th Anniversary Season. This work portrays in music nine sculptures from the John and Mary Pappajohn Sculpture Park in downtown Des Moines, one of the most artistically significant sculpture parks in the United States.
This DVD features a multi-track, five-channel, surround sound recording of the Des Moines Symphony performing Symphony In Sculpture, accompanied by an original film created by Blur MediaWorks.
